Для использования централизованной WiFi-сети Wi-FiDormitory Вам необходимо в личном кабинете пользователя (сайт http://vpn.tsu.ru/) подключить уcлугу WiFi (или проверить, что у вас уже есть логин wi-fi - тогда кнопки для подключения уже не будет):

(После подключения данной услуги Вам будет создан «Пользователь WiFi». Паролем для этого пользователя будет Ваш пароль от услуги VPN).

Для подключения к централизованной WiFi сети на Вашем устройстве выберите сеть: WiFiDormitory.

2. Нажмите «Подключиться»:

3. После успешного подключения запустите браузер. В строке адреса наберите hotspot.tsu.ru

4. Авторизуйтесь, используя имя пользователя WiFi и пароль.
5. ВАЖНО!!!!!!! Оставьте вкладку с успешной авторизацией открытой. Если Вы закроете вкладку с данным сайтом или браузер, через 5 минут Вам придется еще раз проходить авторизацию.
6. После успешной авторизации Вы сможете полноценно использовать WiFi сеть на скоростях, которые определены Вашим тарифом.
Если у вас возникают проблемы с настройкой или с подключением, то обратитесь к администраторам сети по номеру 529 - 869.
Также можно отправить заявку на ремонт сети онлайн на сайте Управления информатизации или оставить заявку в приложении TSU Helper (доступно для iOS и Android).
Internet in the dormitory
Internet communication services in TSU dormitories are provided via a wired network (VPN technology) and a wireless WiFiDormitory network. Internal resources of the TSUNet network are available without any restrictions, to the unregistered users too.
How do I create an account to connect?
Send a request to connect via the site https://accounts.tsu.ru by clicking on the “Зарегистрировать интернет в общежитии” (Register Internet in the dormitory) button on your account page. Then choose a subscription plan, set a password to log in to your personal account on http://vpn.tsu.ru and agree to the terms of service. Please note that your TSU.Account password does not become your VPN connection password automatically, but you can use the same password when registering the VPN service. After registration, a line with the VPN username and Wi-Fi username will appear on your account page. They are required for connection to a wired and wireless network in the dormitory, respectively. The password is the same for both.
How do I connect to the Internet in the dormitory?
There are two ways to connect to the network in the dormitory. You can use both of them, for example, connecting a computer via the first one, and a phone via the second one.
Way 1 (through the wire).
In the room, you need to find an Ethernet cable (if there is none, you can buy one of the necessary length at any computer hardware store), connect it directly to your computer and set up a VPN according to the instructions on http://it.tsu.ru (see Заявки/бланки – Бланки/документы for the instructions on setting up a VPN connection for Windows 7 and Windows 10 operating systems). When setting up a VPN, you will need the VPN username and password that you set when registering the dormitory Internet. If you need more Ethernet sockets for connecting several computers via cable, you can buy a network switch or a router (in this case, disable its Wi-Fi function so that it does not create noise and does not interfere with neighboring and shared access points).
Way 2 (via public Wi-Fi).
Connect to the shared Wi-Fi network WiFiDormitory according to these instructions: http://web.tsu.ru/wifi-dormitory. You will need a Wi-Fi username and password that you set when registering the dormitory Internet to connect.
How do I change/restore my password?
If you need to restore your username and password or change your password, please contact room 11, TSU 2nd building (2nd floor, right wing) from 10:00 to 17:00 (lunch 12:00 to 14:00). You must have your student ID card with you. One cannot change the password online.
How do I report a problem with the Internet and get advice?
If you have a problem connecting, the Internet is gone for some reason, or a question remains unanswered, you should not wait a few days hoping that the problems will solve themselves. Contact technical specialists the following ways:
1. Call technical support: 52-98-69;
2. Submit a request on the TSUHelper mobile app (available for iOS and Android);
3. Leave a request for network repairs on the http://it.tsu.ru site, section Заявки/Бланки→Заявка на ремонт сети.
To use the centralized Wi-FiDormitory Wi-Fi network, you need to activate the Wi-Fi service in your personal account (http://vpn.tsu.ru/) (or check whether you already have a Wi-Fi login; if you do, the connection button will no longer be available):

After activating this service, a "WiFi User" will be created for you. The password for this user is your VPN service password).

To connect to a centralized WiFi network on your device:
1. Select the network: WiFiDormitory / DormitoryEltex
2. Click “Подключиться”:
3. Once you are successfully connected, launch the browser. Type hotspot.tsu.ru in the address bar.

4. Log in using your Wi-Fi username and password.
5. ATTENTION!!!!!!! Leave the successful authorization tab open. If you close the tab or the browser, you will have to log in again in 5 minutes.
6. Once successfully authorized, you will be able to fully use the Wi-Fi network at the speed according to your subscription plan.
